What is Coaching?
Rogers (2008) describes coaching as a relationship where, “the coach works with clients to achieve speedy, increased and sustainable effectiveness in their lives and careers through focused learning. The coach’s sole aim is to work with the client to achieve all of the client’s potential – as defined by the client,” p.7.
The Need for Women’s Coaching – Within Organizations AND Within Communities
Women who lead inside organizations and in communities, bring unique perspectives to their work. They also have unique development needs that are not often met via traditional training. Our goal is to build trusting and supportive coaching relationships that help women achieve their stated goals by helping them take stock of where they are, where they want to go, and developing a plan of how to get there.
